Boys being boys; Toronto FC-Santos ends in donnybrook

Last night’s CONCACAF Champions League match had plenty of talking points.

Herculez Gomez struck again for the Mexican side, continuing to press his case for another U.S. national team call-up.

There was a fairly impressive display by under-strength TFC in a 1-1 draw.

There were hard fouls and cards issued.

And then there was the melee. The tedious, cliche, post-game melee, followed by thoughtless comparisons to “war” and a few warning-shot chasers from the Mexican side.

And yet, who doesn’t want to see the video of boys being boys? Enjoy.
