The day after the biggest match in English Premier League history, a contest of exquisitely skilled men, between clubs steeped in rich legacies, a match with so many implications near and far-reaching, and what is everybody talking about?
A wee coaching spat, where little yappy hands were the choice of weaponry.
Oh, boys! Come on then.
So what was Ferguson so twisted up about? He accused Manchester City counterpart Roberto Mancini of harassing the officials, or trying to “referee the game” while his Red Devils went down (rather meekly) to the Noisy Neighbors at the Etihad Stadium.
Here is the sequence in question, all happening after a clumsy Nigel de Jong tackled felled United forward Danny Welbeck near the sideline.

My take is on Ferguson can easily manhandle Mancini! Oops, that’s best suited for a different sport in which boxing fights break out of the game.
It was a good match overall. However, if the powerful ManU would have shown up then the game would have been better as expected by all the hype built around the game.

The little scandal was funny. Even though pound for pound Mancini wins in a fist fight lol. Overall it was a joy to watch I could feel the tense and an amazing atmosphere at etihad. I still am shocked on fergusons line up. Scholes and giggs in the same lineup? No Valencia was definitely weird since he can create a havoc in the right flank.

Pound per pound, on Mancini? You must be crazy. Even in his 70′s, Ferguson can sure put a nice smack down on Mancini. Not promoting violence here, but one can only wonder.
That ManU lineup was highly questionable and i can onlyimagine he wanted to go with experience considering the high pressured game; Nevertheless, he Put experience on the pitch, but they lack zest and lack of opportunities.

Is there a manager in the game who is a bigger baby than Ferguson. He absolutely abuses and influences officials, but whines about it when he loses. If things don’t go his way he has tantrums and throws his toys out of the pram.
Cannot wait for old Baconface to be out of the game.

Opinions are encouraged here. But no school yard name-calling, please. OK? Let’s leave that for lesser blogs and websites please.

@ billobrienschindimple- i respected your quite disparaging opinion on Ferguson until you got to call him names. Sir Feeguson is a coaching football institution and it’s not by luck he has overcome and excelled by adjusting to today’s football demands. Don’t like him or his style, fine and dandy, but give credi and respect where it is due regardless of your biased feelings.
