Getty Images The Olympics will be here before you know it. In fact, the days are disappearing right before your soccer-loving eyes.
As you watch and listen to U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo talk about the big summer ahead, about the United States’ chances at a third Olympics gold, she and the NBC Sports gang mentioned “83 days” until the London games. Only, by today the sum has fallen to 82 days.
See … just about here.
Solo stopped by yesterday’s Seattle Sounders match to sign some autographs and spend a little time with NBC Sports soccer voices Arlo White and Kyle Martino.
Just thinking about playing in the Olympic final at famed Wembley Stadium gives Solo the chills. Of course, there’s tons of work ahead of any such appointment. Solo can tell you all about it.

(Sighs) oh! Solo! Solo! You never disappoint to inspire us even when you perspire on the pitch. You are a heartbreaker for many male football aficionados who drool over you. Now get yourself on the hollowed English pitches and make sure to become a heartbreaker by stopping and blocking each shot that comes your way from other women’s national team that play against the U.S.
Best of luck,

Sounds like Hope has been yelling at her defenders a lot. Got that GK rasp in full force.
I could listen to her talk soccer all day. Hopefully she’ll get that kind of gig after she retires. When she’s like 45 or something. Or never. They can just keep replacing parts as they wear out.

@ Hil- i’ll take Hope Solo has been enjoying her “Solo” time at concerts or simply letting her hair loose around the Seattle area before the recreation time is over and the Olympics gets near by the second.
