I’m hoping to get a copy of that Brazil-Argentina one. We’re going to have a lot of people ask why Portugal can’t play that way (last 20) all the time.

Fun game. Thrilling final 20 minutes especially. Poor Neuer. That shot he blocked near the end from Varela looked like it hurt. Though I must confess, I was flicking between this game and the Brazil/Argentina friendly. Fantastic stuff.

Originally, yes, talking about that chance. But, that comment could also have easily referred to his slip early in the second half.

I agree. I assume you’re talking about the chance late in the half? Completely agree. The Dutch can’t ask for a better chance than that.

I though RvP, overall, had a decent half. Seemed all the Dutch’s chances involved him coming back and making good decisions on balls played to his feet. However … missing chances like that kind of cancels everything out.

Surprising to see Van Persie have such a poor first touch and not find the equalizer. After his season for Arsenal, you don’t expect him to miss such a great opportunity.
