I’m sure there will be some, uh, “alternative” streams out there. That’s what I hear. But considering the legal issues and the dependability factor, that’s not a rout I plan to go.

Crap! I was hoping someone could stream it for free, especially ustream. They do the Sounders USOC games for free, and they’re pretty good. Can I get for free in Spanish anywhere on the Internet? I could mute the noise.

Thank goodness for soccer bars.

I’d hope a lot of people go out and support their local soccer bars. I was going to skip the game entirely out of protest to it being on PPV only, but a bar plunking down the large sum of money it takes to show the game deserves to be supported. Hopefully a lot of people out there are like me and want to support those soccer bars as a way of supporting the game. I’m even modifying the “free beer movement” for tonight – rather than buying a buddy a beer to watch the game, I’m paying for his cover charge.
