Uh, no… it’s NOT available live for free. It’s only available live for free if you have a TV service that includes MSNBC or CNBC… of which I do not. Where ESPN3 is available to anyone with an internet subscription, NBC chooses to only provide coverage to those that have a TV service like FioS or Cable. In a world that is increasingly shifting from conventional television viewing to on-demand internet-style viewing, NBC is being left behind. As much as I dislike ESPN for their soccer coverage, they’re providing a better product to more people than NBC is. Sorry, Steve.

TELEMUNDO (which is owned by NBC) is showing games LIVE on television without interruption.
