FYI, the only description for Collin’s behavior in that instance is as Steve put it: shameful. He handled the ball and he knew it, yet he throws himself around on the ground like a tantruming two year old trying to draw something.

The worst problem my boys in blue have is not being able to produce. How can you take 24 shots, more that half on goal, and only produce 1 goal? Vermes’ shooting philosophy is apparently “fire away, boys, and let the devil sort ‘em out later.” One solution might be to have the front line hammer away at Nielsen and the 2 backup goalies for a couple of hours every day and nobody goes home until they hit at least half of their shots.

FYI, Collin does NOT “mewl;” he simply lowers the hammer. Wimps had better not be in the way when a pitiful ref like Toledo shows up to not call a game.

Houston needed to do better in the final minutes. You can’t leave players essentially undefended in the box like they did with Zusi, who got the assist. Almost as shameful as Collin’s mewling.
