Firewolf is right. Nothing’s wrong with the location of the stadium, the team is just terrible right now. Lots of no-shows last night even though paid attendance was 16k.

Nowak destroyed this roster and unfortunately, Hackworth doesn’t have many options to change things up.

The FO has a huge job in front of them this off-season as if the Union have another year like this, the fan support will start to die out (just like in Toronto).

Would it be better in central Philly? Well, sure. But it sure looks like things are going OK out in Chester. Attendance is fine, atmosphere is fantastic, etc.

Thing is, MLS is still a league that doesn’t make money. So they have to be thrifty about these things, going into communities that make sense financially. If they waited for some plum of a deal inside right outside downtown, a lot of them would never happen.

Ashame they put the PHILADELPHIA union in Chester. Should have been in Northeast Philly where they are soccer crazy and kids could see pro soccer on the regular.
