Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen was huge in his team’s scoreless draw at New York, backstopping his team superbly on a night when the visitors didn’t have enough of the ball to create many chances at the other end.
Kansas City’s veteran goalkeeper had five saves to preserve the shutout, including a wonderful stop on Kenny Cooper’s first-half blast.

Potential goal of the week becomes save of the week. Too bad for Cooper, good for Nielsen.
