I have to disagree, at least a little bit, with you there. I thought Twellman was okay, not great, though. I like him on the broadcast, but I guess to each their own.

They were saying our luck would run out at merely 8 goals in the last 15 min. Now its 23. Its no longer luck, its determination and focus when the opponents ease up on their gas pedal. Go quakes.

I have to harsh on Taylor Twellman. I’ve watched all the playoff games so far, and the ones he’s been a part of are the only ones I’ve had to turn off the sound to watch. And it’s a shame, because he has a lot of good insight. But he just sounds to me like he has a couple of marbles in his mouth when he speaks. And I’d rather get poked in the eye with a sharp stick than hear his talk about a player doing ‘sumpin’ special’. Or that a shooter is ‘unlucky’ when he misses a shot. But then again I’m old and cranky, and all the broadcasters were better back in my day.

Lucky freak of a goal by SJE against LAG. They’ve had too many stoppage goal wins and at some point that luck will run out when it most needs it.
