Houston will lose eventually at BBVA Compass Stadium. But this elusive, initial loss will not happen anytime soon.
The Dynamo finished their first campaign at their new downtown ground Sunday with a 3-1 win over D.C. United. In seizing control of their home-and-away, total goals Eastern Conference finals series, the Dynamo finished 19 MLS regular season and playoff games without a single loss.

Houston looks good enough to get through to the final and make it a rematch of last year’s game with the Galaxy (if they take care of business in Seattle, and they will). And that’s when they’ll lose, but it’ll be at Home Depot Center. Again.
