Given Solo’s past, you have to believe it’s a combination of both. One has to wonder if Solo would even still be in goal if the US team didn’t have so much offensive firepower that they can routinely come back from the early goals they so often give up. Whose head(s) would have been on the chopping block if those games had been lost?
