I love this.
Rosenborg and Rapid Vienna are not having the best Europa League campaigns. In fact, they are terrible. But the two teams play on Thursday in a battle for last place. Why do we mention this?
Well, the squads happen to employ Mix Diskerud and Terrence Boyd, respectively. And the two men, who became friends on various American youth levels and recently figured in the senior team match against Russia, are jokingly talking a bit of trash on Twitter back and forth.
How cool is that? A German-American and a Norwegian-American meeting in Rosenborg for a tilt with their club teams. More of this. Much, much more of this.
And good luck to both of them.
@tboyd91 The last game was important. This one we should play for fun.If you don’t cater to that – I want my jersey back!
