I'm surprised a charitable organization would spend the money to put their name on an arena. Didn't any donors have problems with that? Sure, most charities spend money to solicit donations, but naming a stadium after yourself is quite a bit different in my eyes than mailers, commercials and standard forms of solicitation.

I've supported Livestrong in the past and it saddens me to see how things are going now, but I'm also starting to question if it wasn't always way more a PR machine than a true charity. (Not trying to say no good was ever done, just that things like this make me question if their priorities were ever exactly how I'd have wished them to be.)

The biggest problem with Livestrong is that since 2005, it really isnt a charity, at least it hasn't donated money to a charity since then. Its main purpose seems to have been fostering Lance's image and agenda. Where the money goes no one really has checked, because their PR machine has everyone believing they are still donating to charity as they did before 2005.
