That’s a good observation. DeLeon likes playing wide, it seems, so maybe a different sort of DeRo?

I suppose the next question: is DCU grooming DeLeon with DeRo’s help to fit that mold?

I see a lot of D Ro’s game in Nick DeLeon. Wondering if he can grow into that Central Attacking Mid role? Probably take a few years to get there.

I have another question: seeing as how DeRo is 35 and is most likely looking at only a couple more years playing, does DCU have any young talent on the roster lined up to take his maestro position when that day comes? DC definitely seemed to excel once DeRo came in as CAM/reserved striker. If that’s the style Olsen is looking to play, maybe it would’ve been to have picked up a similar creative play-maker in the SuperDraft instead of going for a left back and a winger. Unless Augusto turns into a DeRo-type, I don’t see anyone else filling those rather big shoes.
