Better to blood Gonzo sooner rather than later.

His mistakes were not surprising. Cameron had fewer excuses and is a more worrisome case.

With the benefit of perfect hindsight I would have played Besler next to Omar Goodson, and shifted Cameron to right back or the bench.

I liked the starting back 4 when the lineup was announced, and I still like the starting back 4 today. These guys have to get competetive international experience, and the first game of the Hex is a great place to start. It’s unreasonable to ask them to be perfect the first time out of the gate. There’s time for improvement, and you can bet all four learned quite a bit yesterday.

he plays for a second division side in spain that is currently last in the table. so, no. He doesn’t get to start. he shouldn’t even be on the roster.

I thought it was ok to start him. I don’t think letting Gonzales go the full 90 was a good idea.

Yeah…..I don’t think it’s fair to pin the entire loss on those guys. What about our midfield that was invisible? Or how everyone was tired after about 25 minutes?

It was a good move he needs to learn, the problem was he had never plaeyd with cameron before, and cameron has been playing as a midfielder for the alst month.
