Right because MLS is the only “pro soccer” league in the world. Some people who also read this blog actually wish that there was significantly more coverage from leagues on the other side of the pond….Premier, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, etc.

The site is called “ProSoccerTalk” and there is absolutely no tagline suggesting it should be or is MLS-only. While I could also do without another Beckham story on any site, despite my personal opinion he unfortunately remains relevant in the soccer world, which extends WAY beyond the MLS.

To be honest, doesn’t deserve all the attention he’s getting. Won’t be more than a bit-part player for PSG before his imminent retirement.

I really like this blog. I read it religiously. And I’m pretty discerning when it comes to my soccer reading since so much of it is, shall we say, quality challenged.

But can we just let Beckham go? He’s no longer an MLS player. Heck, he is hardly a player at all. This is a total waste of space and the attention on Beckham now just denigrates our sport and this blog.

I understood it when he played in our league. For the record I thought he was a damn good player in MLS. But reporting on him now? It is pathetic.
