Jose Mourinho has never lost a Premier league game at home in 66 games as Chelsea boss… He may be sweating a little now.

Both sets of fans had hardly taken to their seats at Stamford Bridge as Southampton went 1-0 up in West London.

It took just 13 seconds for the Saints to break the deadlocked as Chelsea’s home supporters sat in stunned silence as Jay Rodriguez wheeled away in jubilation.

A long ball down Southampton’s right found Rodriguez clear and he slotted home when clean through on Petr Cech, a fantastic start for the Saints.

Saints’ fans were in dreamland as they taunted Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho with chants of “You’re not special anymore” and Who needs Mourinho? We’ve got Mauricio.”

Can the Blues fight back or will Southampton build on their incredibly early lead?

I missed the goal thinking nothing would happen if I missed the first 2 or 3 knifed. I came out of my morning routine to see my Saints up 1-0 at Stamford Bridge 3 minutes in. My dog is now scared of me due to my joyful shout!

How “bad” EPL must be that early game goals are becoming an often thing. This is just a sarcastic response to someone questioning MLS football quality when NYRB Cahill scored i think 11 seconds into a game.
