Jose Mourinho is unbeaten in 66 PL games at home as Chelsea boss… can the Saints put an end to that incredible run?

On a glorious winters afternoon in West London Mourinho’s Chelsea side welcome Southampton (watch live on NBCSN and online via NBC Sports Live Extra) to Stamford Bridge.

Last season the Saints had the upper hand on Chelsea as they took four points from six against the Blues.

Despite a 2-0 loss away to league-leaders Arsenal last weekend, Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino will believe his side can cause Chelsea plenty of issues as Mourinho’s men have shown weaknesses of late.

The Blues were beaten by FC Basel in midweek and they were lucky to escape with a point against West Brom in the league last time out.

As for team news, Chelsea leave veterans Ashely Cole and Frank Lampard on the bench, while Fernando Torres and Juana Mata return to the starting lineup. Southampton leave out England international Rickie Lambert and bring in Daniel Osvaldo up front, while central defender Dejan Lovren comes in for Jos Hooiveld.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Essien, Ramires; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres

Southampton: Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Ward-Prowse, Lallana (c), Rodriguez, Osvaldo.
