Stoke and Cardiff square off at the Britannia at 2:45pm ET live online on NBC Sports Live Extra.

Both teams are coming off drubbings, Stoke spanked 4-0 by Everton on the weekend and Cardiff falling to Arsenal 3-0.

Cardiff City are hoping to bounce back from their encounter with former Bluebird Aaron Ramsey, but have a chance to pick up road points today.

For the Bluebirds, Aron Gunnarsson returns to the starting lineup, replacing Andrew Taylor.

Surprisingly, Peter Odemwingie sits the bench again and Craig Bellamy doesn’t even make the squad as Malky Mackay goes with Frazier Campbell up front again.

18-year-old left-back Declan John gets his second start of the season, his first coming in a 2-0 loss to West Brom.

Mark Hughes has gone with Peter Crouch up front again, whose imposing figure has garnered just one lone goal in 10 Premier League appearances this season.

American Geoff Cameron moves to central defense with Robert Huth injured.

LINEUPS:

Stoke City – Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters; Arnautovic, Whelan, Nzonzi, Adam, Assaidi; Crouch.

Cardiff City - Marshall; Theophile-Catherine, Caulker, Turner, John; Whittingham, Medel; Gunnarsson, Mutch, Cowie; Campbell.

Good to see Cameron in the lineup, but what about Brek? He should be a sub.
