Who’s heading where, at least for today? Time for a proper transfer rumor roundup.

Liverpool is looking for striker depth after Daniel Sturridge‘s injury gave them a glimpse of life without the former Chelsea player, and the Reds may be looking to Burnley. Twenty-one year-old forward Danny Ings has 15 goals already this season including 11 in the Championship. He has appeared twice for England’s U21 tea, scoring twice. Burnley may be forced to sell given Ings’ high value and financial troubles.

Is losing Nani and Antonio Valencia too steep a price to keep Wesley Sneijder from Chelsea? The Express says that’s what Manchester United is offering Galatasaray to bring the dynamic Dutchman to Old Trafford. Sneijder recently said, “I’m going nowhere, your going to keep seeing me in a red and yellow shirt,” but perhaps only half of the statement could ring true for the attacking midfielder who has plied his trade in Holland, Spain, Italy and Turkey but not England’s Premier League.

With Dimitar Berbatov reportedly wanting out of Craven Cottage and on the outs with many supporters, famous and ordinary, new Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is said to be after Hungarian striker Balazs Dzsudzsak this January. Dzsudzsak has struggled to find his goal-scoring touch at Anzhi and Dynamo Moscow after a prolific career that saw him score 55 times in 156 appearances for PSV.

Atletico Madrid star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has one big problem: in a sense, he’s not really Atletico Madrid’s star goalkeeper. He’s property of Chelsea, but says he doesn’t have interest in coming back from Spain if he isn’t first choice over Petr Cech. It’s a lofty claim, but the Belgian keeper has delivered on-field feats that earned him the La Liga goalkeeper of 2012-13.

Not exactly a transfer and definitely not a rumor, as Diego Calderon’s injured season in Colorado is one he’d probably like to forget. The defender is headed back to the club that loaned him to MLS, LDU Quito, from Ecuador.

Could goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen (above) be moving from Germany to replace Victor Valdes at Barcelona? It’s been widely-speculated, but ter Stegen says he’ll announce his intentions in the coming days. A familiar name has thrown his hat in the ring if ter Stegen doesn’t work out: Pepe Reina.
