The provisional roster for US group stage opponent Germany is out ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and I’m not sure if you’ve realized this but Germany is super good.
The line-up in front of superstar goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will be comprised of names from this 30-man list, and the competition at camp should be incredible.
Sami Khedira, Toni Kroos, Mesut Ozil, Marco Reus, Bastian Schweinsteiger… stop me when you reach a weak spot (Arsenal haters, relax). The list of midfielders alone is enough to make a supporter blush.
Lazio’s Miroslav Klose, 35, is one of two true strikers in the provisional roster as he attempts to break the World Cup record for goals currently held by Ronaldo. Klose has 14 and Ronaldo scored 15.
Favored to come out of Group G, Germany will face the United States, Portugal and Ghana.
