AS Roma unveils first ever Nike kit; straight-forward look for i Lupi

May 28, 2014, 8:27 AM EDT

The simple look is in right now when it comes to top-flight soccer kits; There haven’t been a terrible amount of, well, terrible primary shirts hitting the scene in recent years.

Nike’s new relationship with AS Roma follows that trend, with a collared-shirt that mimics the United States national team in style. The maroon shirt meets orange/yellow bands on the arms, and there is also a orange/yellow underside to the collar.

Nice! loving the fact that it doesn’t have a sponsor on the front, I should get one before they do..

I like the clean look these days. Will be bummed when they add a big corp sponsor for hot dogs across it as well

would prefer it if they went back to black socks. but i think since they got new ownership they have not worn black socks with the home kit. otherwise looks nice.
