The following “Beats By Dre” commercial for its new headphones is more of a stadium intro video and machismo propaganda than anything, but darned if it isn’t catchy.

Word of warning to parents: there’s a couple brief questionable moments, one involving a Spanish fan putting on Spain-flag underwear, but no nudity.

Entitled “The Game Before the Game” and featuring a pulsating song by X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons, the commercial features Neymar Jr. talking to Neymar Sr. before a game and goes on to show at least the following people listening to headphones and caring about soccer:

Thierry Henry
Jozy Altidore
Rio Ferdinand
Cesc Fabregas
Lil Wayne
Nicki Minaj
Bastian Schweinsteiger
LeBron James
Stuart Scott
Luis Suarez

I don’t get it…cool song and all, but what was that mess? Unless it’s all just an elaborate excuse to see that girl’s Spanish underpants.

Was that Stuart Scott in a shirt/tie/jacket/shorts combo? Why was Bastian Schweinsteiger washing his feet with his socks on? Is Neymar’s dad really such a downer before matches? Did that man dunk a piece of note paper in his beer?

I’m pretty sure it’s about underpants. Or something.

Beats by Dre: Great marketing for a horrible, overpriced product.
