DeAndre Yedlin is a wanted man, and his suitor list just keeps on growing.

French paper L’Equipe is reporting that Ligue 1 side Lyon is highly intrigued, and Italian reporter Gianluca di Marzio has said Inter, Roma, and Napoli have all made contact of some sort.

According to the L’Equipe report, the team has contacted Yedlin and are interested if the price is right – around $3.5 million.

There isn’t much more to it than this, for now, but with a trio of solid clubs reported to be interested, it’s hard to imagine the 21-year-old remaining in a Seattle Sounders shirt too much longer.

According to Goal.com’s Ives Galarcep, Italian side Genoa has already submitted a bid to Major League Soccer, and Roma has also reportedly gotten close to the offer stage.

Di Marzio’s report said if Napoli are successful, they’d likely loan out Yedlin, possibly to another Serie A team such as Sassuolo.

On Wednesday we passed on a Sky Sports report that also named Anderlecht alongside Roma and Napoli.

Liverpool has also been mentioned in past reports, although those links seem to have died down compared to those out of Italy and France. Don’t worry if you can’t keep up, neither can we, and it sounds like both the Sounders and Yedlin’s representatives certainly have their hands full.

James Grant Group, Yedlin’s agency, said Wednesday that “talks are ongoing over his future as there are a number of options for him – but as yet nothing is decided.” Meanwhile, Sounders GM Adrian Hanauer said there was “lots of interest” in Yedlin.

Yedlin has returned to action back in the United States since impressing in the World Cup, playing the full 90 minutes in the US Open Cup victory over Portland on Wednesday, and the Sounders are back in action on Sunday in a league fixture against the Timbers again.

I’m with Reyna. Playing time. Playing time. Playing time.

Well it’s not like Seattle was making him an everyday member of the starting 11 before his World Cup eruption. Playing time in Italy or France can lead to even more rapid growth.

He’ll be 25 by the next World Cup, should we qualify.

2018 could be great with Julian Green at 23, John Brooks at 25, Jozy at 29 and Bradley at 30. Who knows about Dempsey who would be 35 by Russia. Hopefully, a 39 year old Tim Howard would have one last World Cup run in him.

What are you talking about? Yedlin played more minutes in 2013 than any other Sounder – GK included. This season he ‘s started every league match and played a full 90 in all but 1 game. His average of 87 minutes a game this season doesn’t exactly validate your obviously lousy fact checking. Unless you factor in the games he missed this season… due to the World Cup.

    Fact check before posting nonsense.

I was talking about the benching he got after the Revs game and well before the World Cup. This season. Take a chill pill, you hardo. Take your own advice before being a jerk.

Just so I follow, by “Well it’s not like Seattle was making him an everyday member of the starting 11 before his World Cup eruption” you weren’t at all referring to his playing time but that he had one bad game (along with the rest of the team on a 4 day, cross-country turnaround )? Maybe English isn’t your first language because what you were trying to say wasn’t even close to what misleading, incorrect info you actually did say.

Dude you’re crazy nut job. And you have no life if you’re posting at 9:22 on Saturday night. Keep trying to spin those tires you aren’t convincing anyone but yourself. And your backhanded language taunt is as unbecoming as one could expect from a nut job.
