Shocking news arrived from Turin on Tuesday, as Juventus boss Antonio Conte left the club after three years in charge.
Conte, 44, spent 13 years at Juve as a player and is a legend at La Vecchia Signora.
That feeling was enhanced further after he guided the Serie A outfit to three-straight league titles since he took charge in 2011.
The shock announcement has yet to be fully explained, as the former Italian national team midfielder has walked away and left the video below as the only explanation.
He won the UEFA Champions League with Juve in 1995-96 as a player and was a runner up on three more occasions, but in 2012 Conte was caught up in one of a number of match-fixing scandals across Italian soccer and was banned for four months.
The Italian national team position is currently vacant after Cesare Prandelli walked away following a poor World Cup as the Azzurri were knocked out at the Group Stage in Brazil.
Is that Conte’s next step as a manager?
Here is a Tweet sent out by Juventus, with a link to Conte’s video, who are now managerless.
