New faces Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw will be with the Red Devils as Manchester United makes its tour of the United States later this month.
The team’s official web site dished the list of players traveling for the International Champions Cup tour that will see United face AS Roma, Inter Milan and Real Madrid in addition to a match against the Los Angeles Galaxy being billed as the “Chevrolet Cup”.
Robin van Persie, Marouane Fellaini and Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez are among the most notable names missing from the list after knockout round runs at the World Cup.
[MORE: Friday’s transfer rumors]
The latter two are more interesting than the former; RVP is coming off a long World Cup run with the Netherlands, while Hernandez has been transfer fodder for months and Fellaini was recently among a rumored 10 names that Louis van Gaal may have up for sale.
Four of those names up for sale are on the trip; Wilfried Zaha may get his chance to shine for Louis van Gaal, while Tom Cleverley, Nani and Ashley Young are both on the list ‘for sale’ and for the tour.
